Being in Aspen has me totally inspired by vintage ski and apres ski wear. Whether it's 80's neon onezies, oversized fur coats or vintage plaid pants, quirky mountain wear certainly trumps the mundane and muted.

I'm off to Aspen to have a white Christmas... These halls are about to be decked out in red and green and these creepy little Danish elves my mother places all over the house.

There is nothing I love more than the smell of Christmas trees... These trees you won't be able to smell, but let these photos inspire future decorating holiday decorating. I just wish my apartment was big enough to fit one of these babies!

Holiday Party !

Today's the day of our annual holiday party! Going to throw on a 70s Christmas sweater with skiers on it, plop on a giant bow in my hair, cook up a batch of my famous Parmesan Thyme Crackers and Vanilla Dark & Stormys and all while the 90s classic Jingle All the Way is in the background...It's about to get festive up in the West Village!

Segment Shoot!

Today MORTON & HUDSON handbags are being shot for the Holiday Gift Guide for EXTRA at my studio! I think I'll wear something like this, minus the sparkles and probably with sleeves. So nothing like this actually. I'll let you all know when the segment airs! XX

Boxes & Boxes

Unpacking dozens of boxes all day and getting the new loft organized. Being surrounded by a seemingly endless abyss of brown cardboard boxes has not only dried out my skin, it has gotten me thinking about the unique boxes some of my favorite items have been presented in. Even just the color of a box can say so much... Robins Egg Blue = a Tiffany diamond, Orange = an Hermes treasure, Light Blue = a Lanvin accessory. What should be MORTON & HUDSON's color? Who am I kidding, black & white is where the M & H brand lives... for now

Heading Back to NY

It's been real West Coast, but after 3 weeks I'm so ready to go back to the city I know and love. And I'll be going home to a new apartment! All I have to do now is furnish it.......... I'm going for an all white and black look for my office, these photos have inspired me
