The Royal Wedding

Kate Middleton's gown, designed by Sarah Burton, was royal wedding perfection. It was beautifully timeless with long lace sleeves and a full skirt and train that was as rich in detail as it was in sophistication. The delicate lace bodice revealed an elegant sweetheart neckline and the hand embroidered lush fabric boasted sheer royal elegance. Although the dress was conservative, as it should have been, it was anything but plain.  Long Live McQUEEN.

Easter is rapidly approaching and although I'm not religious I do love how this holiday solidifies that Spring is finally here to stay and our harsh Winter full of drab muted tones (or just black if you're like me) is finally over. Time to lighten our spirits and throw on some Easter-y pastels and give Spring a nice warm welcome. Although, egg yellow is one pastel I will not be embracing this season, or any.
