I like to dazzle up my summer wardrobe with the occasional metallic piece. I don't own any actual metal garments nor do I really know where to find them, but I find the concept fascinating- kind of like being your own personal knight in shining armor.

Defy Gravity

I find the ability of photographs to freeze time utterly fascinating. These Lissy Elle photographs are a perfect representation of that; a dream-like state frozen in time. They are haunting, mysterious and have a special magical quality to them. Very Leibovitz-esque, who happens to be one my favorites.

American Girl

Call me biased because I am an American, but there's something undoubtedly unique about the effortlessness of American style. We are big into denim, relaxed wavy hair and red lips. Maybe it's a generalization, no it's definitely a generalization, but Americans have coined the causal effortless look. Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

The all white look... so clean, chic, and fresh. For my graduation party this Saturday, I'm not giving everyone carte blanche (pun intended) for their attire... For this little beach soiree I'm requiring everyone dress in all white. Let's just pray no one shows up chanelling Tom Cruise in Risky Business.
